Program Speakers Biographies
On May 2-4, 2007, the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s (TIPS) Task Force on Corporate Governance
held its second annual conference on Corporate Governance issues at New York City’s Sheraton Hotel and Towers. The
2007 installment of "Beyond Legal: A Business Approach to Corporate Governance" focused on the timely issues of corporate
investigations, corporate metrics, executive compensation, international corporate governance issues and various "hot topics"
including green and environmental issues and U.S. Supreme Court updates.
The feedback from conference attendees was incredible. Due to the continued exceptional responses, requests for the
conference to continue on an annual basis and topic suggestions, our next corporate governance conference will again be
held at New York City’s Sheraton Hotel and Towers on May 8 and 9, 2008.
